The Gurulib tool/site worked quite well. It recognized all but a couple of the DVDs for which I scanned in the UPC codes, missing Eminem’s “The Slim Shady Show,” John Tavener’s “Fall and Resurrection,” and one or two others.

I was surprised at some that I didn’t find. I could have sworn that I had the official releases of Koyaanisqatsi (I have a limited edition release that was sent to people who donated to the movie’s fund a long time ago) and Powaqqatsi.

And in typing this, I realize that I lent three of my DVD to a chocolatier in the neighborhood, who shows classical music DVDs on a projection system in his shop.

And now to resist running amock getting the ones that I wish that I had…
