Something somewhere had decided to rewrite the settings record for my theme. (I'm using the <a href="http://www.plaintxt.org/themes/barthelme/" rel="nofollow">Barthelme</a> theme for WordPress.) Once I went in and reset the font size parameter from 75% to 100%, and change the fonts back from Arial to Georgia for the text and from, um, whatever it was to Tahoma for the titles, all was made better.
